Food For Families. Thanks to you.
For the past 28 years, Food For Families has collected food and other essentials to share with families and individuals doing it tough at Christmas.
Last year in the lead-up to Christmas, just over 32 tonnes of food and toiletries were collected thanks to thousands of generous supporters like you.
Right now, it’s difficult for us to know what we will be able to do by Christmas. We know the need is there – in fact data from our services shows that demand for food relief is growing.
Ways you can help now

Drop off food
Most of our emergency relief services are operating and still accepting donations of non-perishable food and household essential items. So if you have items you wish to donate and can visit one of our drop off points while respecting your local restrictions, please call them directly to confirm any site specific requirements. This will ensure someone will be available to accept your donation at the time you plan to drop past.

Give a regular gift
If you want to support families this Christmas and beyond, please consider becoming a regular supporter by giving a monthly gift. $30 a month – just $1 a day – allows us to provide a shopping bag of groceries to families in crisis. You can set up a regular gift by selecting your amount and checking the "monthly donation" box or by calling 1800 668 426.

Place an online order
If you would specifically like to donate food but cannot reach one of our drop off points, you may wish to could do an online supermarket order or send a supermarket gift card for Uniting’s Emergency Relief team to do the shopping for you.

Make a cash donation
If you wish to make a donation to directly support vulnerable people needing access to food, you can do that through our donations page on our website or by calling Supporter Services on 1800 668 426.
